Description: The joy of Easter morning does not end at the empty tomb. In the weeks that followed His resurrection, Jesus appeared repeatedly to His disciples. In those moments He comforted the fearful, reassured the doubtful, restored the broken, and sent His followers into the world with a mission.
In our Wednesday Bible study, we will walk through several of these post-Easter encounters with the risen Christ. Each appearance reveals something important about who Jesus is and what His resurrection means for His people today. Each of these appearances reveals that the risen Lord meets His followers exactly where they are—on the road, behind locked doors, beside the sea, and on the mountain—and He continues to meet us in our own lives as well.
