Luke 7 – What Was Jesus Doing? (Week 4)

This week we follow Jesus to the towns of Capernaum and Nain. Crowds of people flocked to Jesus, following Him from one place to the next, hoping to hear or see something miraculous. They were able to witness the miraculous when Jesus healed a sick servant and raised a mother’s son from the dead. But the true miracle they witnessed was the compassion of Jesus for those in need. The crowds who followed were in need, and we are too. Jesus has responded to our need by lowering Himself and becoming one of us. Jesus’ compassion is reason for rejoicing and celebrating!
