Acts 4 – The Empowering Spirit (Week 3)

It didn’t take long for persecution to start. Peter and John were arrested and questioned by the religious leaders for proclaiming the name of Jesus. Imagine how frightening it would have been to be forced to defend their belief in Jesus Christ before the assembled religious leaders. This would have been impossible on their own. It was the Holy Spirit that gave Peter and John the power to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus. The same Spirit gives us the strength to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus.

I want to alert you to the upcoming schedule, which is as follows:

  • June 6 – No Class
  • June 13 – No Class
  • June 20 – Class resumes (Acts 17)

Links to materials can be found below. As always, please let me know if you have any questions.

In Jesus,

Pastor Richard

Acts 4.12: “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.” (NRSV)
